Between all the different products and marketing strategies out there, there’s a huge amount of guesswork and confusion surrounding water soluble CBD. Regardless, water soluble CBD products continue to take the market by storm. This article briefly explains what water soluble CBD is, how it works, why it’s so popular, and how you can start to profit from the growing demand.

What Is Water Soluble CBD?

After CBD oil is extracted from hemp, water soluble CBD (Cannabidiol) ingredients can be made with a process called nanotechnology. Nanotechnology often utilizes sound waves that “nano-size” the CBD compounds down to miniature versions. These tiny compounds become encapsulated with organic materials to ensure they stay in their new form. The resulting particles measure a width of less than 100 nanometers. A nanometer is just one-billionth of a meter.

How Does Water Soluble CBD Work?

Nearly 60% of the human body consists of water. The skin contains even more on average. Simply put, the body cannot properly absorb CBD in its natural oil form. Nanotechnology solves this issue. Because of their size and shape, water soluble CBD compounds work in ways that the natural oil form cannot. Water soluble CBD products enable a higher absorption of active ingredients across the cell membrane.

Why Is It So Popular?

Water soluble ingredients greatly increase the versatility of CBD products. From a manufacturing perspective, they mix especially well with beverages and topicals whereas regular oils tend to clump and separate. In addition, an incredible amount of anecdotal evidence shows that water soluble just works better for people than regular forms of CBD. There is no wonder why Fortune 500 companies like CocaCola and PepsiCo continue to show interest in water soluble technology and the budding CBD beverage market. People love it, the products are relatively easy to produce, and there are literally billions of dollars to be made!

How You Can Start to Profit

The market for CBD beverages, edibles and topicals shows no sign of slowing and that means big opportunity for entrepreneurs to make profits selling water soluble CBD products. How should you get started? Use these simple tips:
  1. Start Developing a Business Plan That Works – A decent strategy guides you through each phase of your business. You’ll utilize this blueprint as a guide for how to structure, run, and develop your new business. It’s the best way to consider the key components of your business. Always continue to improve your business plan and focus on building relationships with your ideal customers. A healthy markup is at least 30% on top of what you pay to the manufacturer.
  2. Always Source Water Soluble CBD Products From a Reliable Supplier – Anyone can slap a label on an inexpensive oil product and call it “nano”. You need to make sure your products actually stand up to their claims. You also need a company you can trust. A licensed manufacturer like Fresh Bros. will help you get your hands on premium products.
  3. Build Your Digital Presence – Make sure you offer a fully functional website built on WordPress or a comparable platform. Builders like Wix and Squarespace will not cut it. Sell products directly on your website. Be willing to offer free shipping. Advertise. Accept credit and debit. Use social media and email campaigns to promote.
  4. Ride for the Brand – Once you’ve taken care of the first steps, it’s time to focus on sharing your story. What makes you unique? You need to constantly be learning about the products and the technology. This way you can educate others and make them true advocates of your brand.

Notice to Legality for Water Soluble CBD Products:

The photos contained on this page might look like marijuana products, but they actually show legal hemp CBD products. Historic legislation establishes the legality of industrial hemp produced in state pilot agricultural programs. Congress provides the requisite definition for allowable amounts of THC. Industrial hemp means the plant Cannabis sativa L. and any part of such plant, whether growing or not, with a delta-9 tetrahydrocannabinol concentration of not more than 0.3 percent on a dry weight basis”. An important legal distinction also appears in the first sentence of this bill. It states: “Notwithstanding the Controlled Substances Act (21 U.S.C. 801 et seq.), the Safe and Drug-Free Schools and Communities Act (20 U.S.C. 7101 et seq.), chapter 81 of title 41, United States Code, or any other Federal law”. Moreover, the term “notwithstanding” became widely used by the 114th Congress as a way to supersede previous laws that may apply, without going through the process of overturning them. This confirms that hemp cannot be considered “marijuana” under the CSA.

Consolidated Appropriations Act, Sec. 763 (2016)

This legislation marks the omnibus federal budget for FY2016. In addition, according to 7 U.S.C. §5940, the term “industrial hemp” means the plant Cannabis sativa L. and any part of such plant, whether growing or not, with a Delta-9 tetrahydrocannabinol (Delta-9 THC) concentration of not more than 0.3% on a dry weight basis. Furthermore, only the Delta-9 THC level remains relevant, not THC-A. This hemp flower contains a Delta-9 THC level on a dry weight basis equal to 0%, well below the 0.3% maximum level. Therefore, this reflects hemp, not marijuana, and remains perfectly legal to possess and sell.  In addition, this right applies in any state pursuant to the Full Faith and Credit Clause, Article VI, Section 1 of the Constitution, the Supremacy Clause, Article VI, Section 2 of the Constitution, and the Equal Protection Clause, Section 1 of the Fourteenth Amendment.
